We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of Seasons IGA Bardon, our newest store in the Seasons family. Bardon will bring a premium and boutique supermarket experience to one of Brisbane’s most vibrant and food-loving communities.


Just 5km from Brisbane’s CBD, Seasons IGA Bardon will offer a curated selection of fresh produce, gourmet groceries, and locally sourced products, presented in a warm and welcoming environment. Inspired by the success of our flagship Seasons IGA East Brisbane, this new store will reflect the same high standards of quality, service and care that our customers know and love.

Store Manager

Store Manager - Full Time

Seasons IGA Bardon (Opening 2026)


Start: January 2026
Package: $100k+ (total package)
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)


Seasons IGA Bardon is seeking an experienced and hands-on Store Manager to lead our new supermarket opening 2026. You’ll build, coach and inspire the team from the ground up, driving exceptional standards, strong commercial results and a welcoming, community-first store culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall store operations, standards and financial performance
  • Recruit, roster, develop and mentor a high-performing team
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and in-store experience
  • Execute pricing, promotions, planograms and seasonal campaigns
  • Manage budgets, wage control, shrinkage and inventory KPIs
  • Ensure safety, compliance, food handling and audit readiness
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, local community and support office

What We are Looking for

  • 3+ years supermarket/retail management experience (multi-dept or store level)
  • Proven leadership, coaching and people-development skills
  • Strong commercial acumen with results across sales, waste and wage control
  • Organised, proactive and calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for community retail and customer service

Grocery Manager - Full Time

Seasons IGA Bardon is seeking a passionate and experienced Grocery Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our grocery department in a brand-new store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage overall grocery operations, availability and merchandising standards
  • Monitor stock levels, planograms, ticketing and promotional execution
  • Lead, develop and mentor a small team; manage rosters and training
  • Minimise waste and maximise efficiency and on-shelf availability
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, store leadership and support office
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years grocery management or supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills; hands-on approach
  • Proven results across availability, waste control and promo execution
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for customer service and community food retail

Meat Manager - Full Time

Seasons IGA Bardon is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Meat Manager to lead our butchery department. You’ll own production planning, quality, food safety and presentation while coaching your team to deliver standout service and fresh, great-looking cabinets every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day butchery operations, including cutting, packing and value-adding
  • Plan production to match demand; manage ordering, stock rotation and yields
  • Maintain exceptional quality, freshness, ticketing and merchandising standards
  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene and OH&S procedures
  • Minimise waste and maximise margin through smart buying and yields
  • Train, roster and mentor team members; foster a safe, positive culture
  • Collaborate with Store Manager and support office on promos and seasonal events

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years meat/butchery management or supervisory experience
  • Strong knife skills and product knowledge (beef, lamb, pork, poultry, smallgoods)
  • Proven results in production planning, margin and waste control
  • High standards in food safety, cleanliness and compliance
  • Leadership, training and communication skills; hands-on and proactive
  • Customer-first mindset and pride in presentation

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead produce operations including ordering, range, quality control and rotation
  • Deliver exceptional displays, ticketing and promotional execution
  • Manage shrink through smart ordering, handling and date management
  • Coach, roster and develop a small team; uphold safety and food handling standards
  • Build supplier relationships and leverage seasonal opportunities
  • Maintain rigorous cleanliness and back-of-house standards

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years produce management or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of quality, seasonality and handling best practices
  • Track record improving availability, sales and shrink results
  • Creative eye for merchandising and standards
