Supporting Local Communities

At Seasons IGA Supermarkets, our unwavering commitment to the community is paramount. Year after year, we proactively engage with our neighbours by actively participating in various fundraisers and providing steadfast support to the numerous local clubs and community groups situated near our eleven stores.

Every time you purchase a Community Chest product, you are directly aiding multiple local organisations, sports clubs, charities,  and community groups in the vicinity of our stores. A portion of the proceeds from each Community Chest product goes back to these deserving causes.

At Seasons IGA Supermarkets, our primary mission is to enrich the lives of local children by championing their educational pursuits and enabling a wide range of recreational activities. We are dedicated supporters of various sports, including AFL, soccer, cricket, netball, and athletics,  as well as those lesser-known community organisations that often operate under the radar.

Through the Maleny Community Benefit Chest, we encourage customers to support local charity groups. When a customer registers their Rewards Card, they can select a charity to receive all of their allocated reward points. This way, our customers everyday shopping helps make a positive impact in our community.

We are committed to supporting our community through various fundraising initiatives, including our signature campaign, Apple a Day. With every Apple purchased at a Seasons IGA store, you contribute to building a new youth facility in North Brisbane.

We collaborate with several local businesses, with profits from selected products going directly to developing infrastructure aimed at guiding and mentoring the youth of Queensland.

Additionally, we have the 'Donate to Feed a Family' campaign, which runs during Christmas. Every $2 token you purchase brings hope to families in need, ensuring they can enjoy a warm and festive Christmas lunch with their loved ones.
