Grocery Manager

Join Our Team – Grocery Manager (Full-Time)


Location: Seasons IGA Burpengary
Roster: Tuesday to Saturday
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: $70,000 + Superannuation


Seasons IGA is a proudly independent supermarket group committed to delivering outstanding service, fresh local produce, and a great shopping experience. We’re currently looking for a passionate and experienced Grocery Manager to join our team at Seasons IGA Burpengary.

About the Role

As Grocery Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the grocery department. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in running a well-presented, well-stocked department and enjoys building a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of grocery operations, including ordering, stock management, merchandising, and presentation
  • Lead, train, and support a small team to deliver excellent results
  • Ensure accurate pricing and ticketing across all grocery lines
  • Maintain adequate stock levels while minimising waste
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, the support office, and store leadership
  • Uphold food safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a grocery management or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example
  • A positive attitude and genuine passion for food retail
