We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Dairy & Freezer Manager to join our team at Seasons IGA Yandina.

As the Dairy & Freezer Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the department, ensuring shelves are well stocked, products are presented to a high standard, and customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.

You will lead by example, support and develop your team, and contribute to the overall success of the store through effective stock management, strong organisation, and outstanding customer service.

• Full-time position 
• Immediate start available 
• Tuesday to Saturday roster

• Manage the daily operations of the Dairy & Freezer departments. 
• Ensure excellent product availability and presentation. 
• Lead, coach, and support team members to achieve department goals. 
• Minimise stock loss and waste through effective stock rotation and inventory management. 
• Maintain high standards of food safety and workplace health and safety. 
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with enquiries. 
• Work closely with store management to drive department performance and profitability.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous supermarket experience, preferably in Dairy, Freezer, or Grocery. 
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience. 
• Strong organisational and time management skills. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• The ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
• Basic computer skills. 
• A sound understanding of food safety requirements. 
• A positive, hands-on attitude with a commitment to leading by example.

About the Role

As a Deli Team Member, you will play an important role in delivering a positive shopping experience for our customers. You’ll be part of a supportive team, ensuring our deli department is well presented, fully stocked, and operating to the highest standards.

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service. 
• Prepare and present deli products to a high standard. 
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the department. 
• Assist with stock rotation and freshness control. 
• Follow food safety and workplace health and safety procedures. 
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors. 

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Have a passion for fresh food and customer service.

• Previous deli or food retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
